Instructions From The Lord For His People

Date: July 10, 2015

Personal Note:
On July 6, 2015, as I was finding the scriptures for this Word below, that I received from the Lord on July 5, 2015, He began to give me some new instructions.

The first thing He gently whispered to me was this:

"That's the last One."

Later that same day, after I had published three other Words the LORD had given me, I posted this Word below in draft because I sensed in my spirit that the LORD wanted His people to read the other three Words first before this Word was published. And, on July 7, 2015, after I asked the LORD if I had heard Him right, He said this to me:

"Yes, you heard right...that Word in draft is My last Word to the people. They need to come to Me themselves and you need to get your household ready spiritually and physically. You will get the things I show you to get ... Relax. Trust Me. Rest yourself now, child. You did well with the site. Good job. Now rest and follow My lead, I have other things for you to do. Amen."

Next, on July 9, 2015, He added this:

"Sharon, I will indeed give you more Words, and these you are to record in a book until the times have reached their fulfillment for them. Record also the dates and the times and give each one the title that I give you. If I require you to post any of these Words to this blog later in the future, I will let you know specifically which ones. My people need to read and re-read all 97 Words that are already posted to this blog, and they need to consider each one and be obedient to what My instructions to each of them are. I AM COMING and there is no delay! My people must take Me, and all My warnings that I give them through My prophets and messengers – SERIOUSLY. These are not just idle Words to you, My people – THESE WORDS, as well as My DIVINE WORD recorded in the Bible – is your life. Listen to THEM and obey My instructions and My Voice, and YOU WILL LIVE. Shalom. Yahushua Ha Mashiach, your GOD. Amen."

Therefore, as the Lord has indicated above, this Word below is the last message from Him that He wants me to post on this blog for now. Please remember to always pray for discernment and to seek the LORD for confirmation for every single Word you read and hear from His servants. Men can make mistakes; only God is perfect and His Word never contradicts itself. Peace be with you. I am looking forward to meeting all of you soon in our Father's Kingdom. Maranatha!

Deuteronomy 32:44-47 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
44 Then Moses came and spoke all the words of this song in the hearing of the people, he, with Joshua the son of Nun. 45 When Moses had finished speaking all these words to all Israel, 46 he said to them, “Take to your heart all the words with which I am warning you today, which you shall command your sons to observe carefully, even all the words of this law. 47 For it is not an idle word for you; indeed it is your life. And by this word you will prolong your days in the land, which you are about to cross the Jordan to possess.”

Jeremiah 33:2-3 English Standard Version (ESV)

Galatians 6:9 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 So let’s not get tired of doing what is good. At just the right time we will reap a harvest of blessing if we don’t give up.

Proverbs 4:4-7 New International Version (NIV)
A Father’s Wise Advice
4 Then he taught me, and he said to me, “Take hold of my words with all your heart; keep my commands, and you will live. 5 Get wisdom, get understanding; do not forget my words or turn away from them. 6 Do not forsake wisdom, and she will protect you; love her, and she will watch over you. 7 The beginning of wisdom is this: Get wisdom. Though it cost all you have, get understanding.

Warning about Self-Confidence
13 Look here, you who say, “Today or tomorrow we are going to a certain town and will stay there a year. We will do business there and make a profit.” 14 How do you know what your life will be like tomorrow? Your life is like the morning fog—it’s here a little while, then it’s gone. 15 What you ought to say is, “If the Lord wants us to, we will live and do this or that.” 16 Otherwise you are boasting about your own pretentious plans, and all such boasting is evil. 17 Remember, it is sin to know what you ought to do and then not do it.

Proverbs 8:1-6 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Excellence of Wisdom
1 Does not wisdom cry out, And understanding lift up her voice? 2 She takes her stand on the top of the high hill, Beside the way, where the paths meet. 3 She cries out by the gates, at the entry of the city, At the entrance of the doors: 4 “To you, O men, I call, And my voice is to the sons of men. 5 O you simple ones, understand prudence, And you fools, be of an understanding heart. 6 Listen, for I will speak of excellent things, And from the opening of my lips will come right things;

Proverbs 8:12-16 New King James Version (NKJV)
12 “I, wisdom, dwell with prudence, And find out knowledge and discretion. 13 The fear of the Lord is to hate evil; Pride and arrogance and the evil way And the perverse mouth I hate. 14 Counsel is mine, and sound wisdom; I am understanding, I have strength. 15 By me kings reign, And rulers decree justice. 16 By me princes rule, and nobles, All the judges of the earth

I AM Coming to Wake This Sleeping Nation Up And Bring It To Its Knees

Date Received: July 4, 2015

Personal Note:
As soon as I woke up this morning, before the LORD gave me the Word below, I had a quick flash vision. In this quick vision, I saw severe lightning striking a very turbulent sea, as though there was some kind of hurricane or storm.

Immediately after I had this vision, I asked the Lord if it was coming from Him and if so, what it meant. His answer to my question was this:

"Yes. Tell My people this for me, child. There is a storm coming: a massive one. The seas will rage, and the thunder and lightning will be severe, just like Hurricane Charley ... In a few days, this land will see a great hurricane. But, fear not. My people must not be in fear when these things occur. I AM coming to wake this sleeping nation up and bring it to its knees! The people need to repent before me, they need to know that I AM GOD and there is NO other. Trust in Me and do good. Keep your heads looking up. I AM coming. Shalom."

Below is the Word He gave me right after His explanation above. Please remember to always pray for discernment and to seek the LORD for confirmation for every single Word you read and hear from His servants. Men can make mistakes; only God is perfect and His Word never contradicts itself. Peace be with you. Amen.

NOTE: I have placed the link to a video entitled: "The Wrath of Charley," below the related scriptures section. It is important for all of us to have something to judge this devastation by, especially since the LORD mentioned it by name. (If possible, please watch the video to the very end; there is an extra footage after the main story ends.)

Revelation 18:1-2 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Fall of Babylon the Great
18 After these things I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was illuminated with his glory. 2 And he cried mightily with a loud voice, saying, “Babylon the great is fallen, is fallen, and has become a dwelling place of demons, a prison for every foul spirit, and a cage for every unclean and hated bird!

Revelation 18:3-7 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 For all the nations have drunk of the wine of the wrath of her fornication, the kings of the earth have committed fornication with her, and the merchants of the earth have become rich through the abundance of her luxury.” 4 And I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you share in her sins, and lest you receive of her plagues. 5 For her sins have reached to heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Render to her just as she rendered to you, and repay her double according to her works; in the cup which she has mixed, mix double for her. 7 In the measure that she glorified herself and lived luxuriously, in the same measure give her torment and sorrow; for she says in her heart, ‘I sit as queen, and am no widow, and will not see sorrow.’

Revelation 18:8-10New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Therefore her plagues will come in one day—death and mourning and famine. And she will be utterly burned with fire, for strong is the Lord God who judges her. 9 “The kings of the earth who committed fornication and lived luxuriously with her will weep and lament for her, when they see the smoke of her burning,10 standing at a distance for fear of her torment, saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city Babylon, that mighty city! For in one hour your judgment has come.’

Revelation 18:17-19New King James Version (NKJV)
17 For in one hour such great riches came to nothing.’ Every shipmaster, all who travel by ship, sailors, and as many as trade on the sea, stood at a distance18 and cried out when they saw the smoke of her burning, saying, ‘What is like this great city?’ 19 “They threw dust on their heads and cried out, weeping and wailing, and saying, ‘Alas, alas, that great city, in which all who had ships on the sea became rich by her wealth! For in one hour she is made desolate.’

Jeremiah 50:1-3 New Living Translation (NLT)
A Message about Babylon
50 The Lord gave Jeremiah the prophet this message concerning Babylon and the land of the Babylonians. 2 This is what the Lord says: “Tell the whole world, and keep nothing back. Raise a signal flag to tell everyone that Babylon will fall! Her images and idols will be shattered. Her gods Bel and Marduk will be utterly disgraced. 3 For a nation will attack her from the north and bring such destruction that no one will live there again. Everything will be gone; both people and animals will flee.

Jeremiah 6:19 New King James Version (NKJV)
19 Hear, O earth! Behold, I will certainly bring calamity on this people—The fruit of their thoughts, Because they have not heeded My words Nor My law, but rejected it.

Micah 1:2-3 New International Version (NIV)
2 Hear, you peoples, all of you, listen, earth and all who live in it, that the Sovereign Lord may bear witness against you, the Lord from his holy temple. 3 Look! The Lord is coming from his dwelling place; he comes down and treads on the heights of the earth.

Psalm 18:7-9New Living Translation (NLT)
7 Then the earth quaked and trembled. The foundations of the mountains shook; they quaked because of his anger. 8 Smoke poured from his nostrils; fierce flames leaped from his mouth. Glowing coals blazed forth from him. 9 He opened the heavens and came down; dark storm clouds were beneath his feet.

Psalm 18:11-15 New Living Translation (NLT)
11 He shrouded himself in darkness, veiling his approach with dark rain clouds. 12 Thick clouds shielded the brightness around him and rained down hail and burning coals. 13 The Lord thundered from heaven; the voice of the Most High resounded amid the hail and burning coals. 14 He shot his arrows and scattered his enemies; great bolts of lightning flashed, and they were confused. 15 Then at your command, O Lord, at the blast of your breath, the bottom of the sea could be seen, and the foundations of the earth were laid bare.

Amos 9:5-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
5 The Lord, the Lord of Heaven’s Armies, touches the land and it melts, and all its people mourn. The ground rises like the Nile River at flood time, and then it sinks again. 6 The Lord’s home reaches up to the heavens, while its foundation is on the earth. He draws up water from the oceans and pours it down as rain on the land. The Lord is his name!

Joel 3:1-4 New International Version (NIV)
The Nations Judged
3 ]“In those days and at that time, when I restore the fortunes of Judah and Jerusalem, 2 I will gather all nations and bring them down to the Valley of Jehoshaphat. There I will put them on trial for what they did to my inheritance, my people Israel, because they scattered my people among the nations and divided up my land. 3 They cast lots for my people and traded boys for prostitutes; they sold girls for wine to drink. 4 “Now what have you against me, Tyre and Sidon and all you regions of Philistia? Are you repaying me for something I have done? If you are paying me back, I will swiftly and speedily return on your own heads what you have done.

Joel 3:13-16 New International Version (NIV)
13 Swing the sickle, for the harvest is ripe. Come, trample the grapes, for the winepress is full and the vats overflow—so great is their wickedness!” 14 Multitudes, multitudes in the valley of decision! For the day of the Lord is near in the valley of decision. 15 The sun and moon will be darkened, and the stars no longer shine. 16 The Lord will roar from Zion and thunder from Jerusalem; the earth and the heavens will tremble. But the Lord will be a refuge for his people, a stronghold for the people of Israel.

Ephesians 5:12-17 New International Version (NIV)
12 It is shameful even to mention what the disobedient do in secret. 13 But everything exposed by the light becomes visible—and everything that is illuminated becomes a light. 14 This is why it is said: “Wake up, sleeper, rise from the dead, and Christ will shine on you.” 15 Be very careful, then, how you live—not as unwise but as wise, 16 making the most of every opportunity, because the days are evil. 17 Therefore do not be foolish, but understand what the Lord’s will is.

1 Thessalonians 5:1-6 New International Version (NIV)
The Day of the Lord
5 Now, brothers and sisters, about times and dates we do not need to write to you, 2 for you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. 3 While people are saying, “Peace and safety,” destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape. 4 But you, brothers and sisters, are not in darkness so that this day should surprise you like a thief. 5 You are all children of the light and children of the day. We do not belong to the night or to the darkness. 6 So then, let us not be like others, who are asleep, but let us be awake and sober.

Revelation 3:1-3 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
3 “To the angel of the church in Sardis write: He who has the seven Spirits of God and the seven stars, says this: ‘I know your deeds, that you have a name that you are alive, but you are dead. 2 Wake up, and strengthen the things that remain, which were about to die; for I have not found your deeds completed in the sight of My God. 3 So remember what you have received and heard; and keep it, and repent. Therefore if you do not wake up, I will come like a thief, and you will not know at what hour I will come to you.

Revelation 2:4 New American Standard Bible (NASB)
4 But I have this against you, that you have left your first love.5 Therefore remember from where you have fallen, and repent and do the deeds you did at first; or else I am coming to you and will remove your lampstand out of its place—unless you repent.

Acts 17: 31 New International Version (NIV)
31 For he has set a day when he will judge the world with justice by the man he has appointed. He has given proof of this to everyone by raising him from the dead.”

Revelation 22:12 English Standard Version (ESV)
12 “Behold, I am coming soon, bringing my recompense with me, to repay each one for what he has done.

Luke 12:4-5 New Living Translation (NLT)
4 “Dear friends, don’t be afraid of those who want to kill your body; they cannot do any more to you after that. 5 But I’ll tell you whom to fear. Fear God, who has the power to kill you and then throw you into hell. Yes, he’s the one to fear.

Matthew 10:26-31 New International Version (NIV)
26 “So do not be afraid of them, for there is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. 27 What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ear, proclaim from the roofs.28 Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather, be afraid of the One who can destroy both soul and body in hell. 29 Are not two sparrows sold for a penny? Yet not one of them will fall to the ground outside your Father’s care. 30 And even the very hairs of your head are all numbered.31 So don’t be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.

Exodus 14: 14 English Standard Version (ESV)
14 The Lord will fight for you, and you have only to be silent.”

Proverbs 8:5-7 New International Version (NIV)
5 You who are simple, gain prudence; you who are foolish, set your hearts on it. 6 Listen, for I have trustworthy things to say; I open my lips to speak what is right. 7 My mouth speaks what is true, for my lips detest wickedness.

Zechariah 2:13New Living Translation (NLT)
13 Be silent before the Lord, all humanity, for he is springing into action from his holy dwelling.”

Isaiah 51:7-8 New Living Translation (NLT)
7 “Listen to me, you who know right from wrong, you who cherish my law in your hearts. Do not be afraid of people’s scorn, nor fear their insults. 8 For the moth will devour them as it devours clothing. The worm will eat at them as it eats wool. But my righteousness will last forever. My salvation will continue from generation to generation.”

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 New King James Version (NKJV)
4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 5 casting down arguments and every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ.

Isaiah 55:7-9 New King James Version (NKJV)

7 Let the wicked forsake his way, And the unrighteous man his thoughts; Let him return to the Lord, And He will have mercy on him; And to our God, For He will abundantly pardon. 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, Nor are your ways My ways,” says the Lord. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, So are My ways higher than your ways, And My thoughts than your thoughts.

Ephesians 6:10-18 New King James Version (NKJV)
The Whole Armor of God
10 Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might.11 Put on the whole armor of God, that you may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil. 12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this age, against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God, that you may be able to withstand in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace; 16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one. 17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God; 18 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saint.

Isaiah 45:5-6 English Standard Version (ESV)
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, 6 that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other.

Apply Yourselves, Seek Me Now And Live: I Will Accept No Excuses!

Date Received: July 2, 2015

Sharon, tell My people this for Me. Fear not, children; greater is He Who is in you than he who is in the world. Nothing can happen upon the earth unless I allow it. I AM in full control of all things - things that you see and things that you don't see. Trust in Me.

My Name is Mighty, use it as you fight your daily battles for Me, and stand strong upon the Truth of My Word and upon the Truth of Who I AM and what I stand for. I AM a Holy God, so be holy in all you do. Be holy because I AM Holy. With Me wickedness cannot dwell. Rid yourselves of all evil and all wickedness, children. Allow Me to cleanse you daily of all your sins.

Come unto Me all those who are humble and contrite in heart. Seek My Face, children and you will live. I take no pleasure in the death of the wicked. All I request is that everyone upon the face of the earth repent of all their sins, turn back to Me, and seek My Face with all sincerity and truth. I AM Truth, seek Me and you will live.

Time is of the essence. Don't be taken off guard. Now is the time to seek Me. Now is the time that I favor what you do. Seek Me, children, and you will live. I show no favoritism, I AM a Just GOD. Focus on Me and stop comparing yourselves with others. Focus on Me and My Words and listen for MY Voice to you. Don't be lazy any longer, apply yourselves. Make time for Me, obey Me, obey My Word. Seek Me with all of your heart, mind, soul, and strength. I will accept NO EXCUSES; come unto Me now and live. Shalom.

Isaiah 45:5-7 English Standard Version (ESV)
5 I am the Lord, and there is no other, besides me there is no God; I equip you, though you do not know me, 6 that people may know, from the rising of the sun and from the west, that there is none besides me; I am the Lord, and there is no other. 7 I form light and create darkness, I make well-being and create calamity, I am the Lord, who does all these things.

Mark 9:38-40 English Standard Version (ESV)

38 John said to him, “Teacher, we saw someone casting out demons in your name, and we tried to stop him, because he was not following us.” 39 But Jesus said, “Do not stop him, for no one who does a mighty work in my name will be able soon afterward to speak evil of me. 40 For the one who is not against us is for us.

John 16:23-25 New Living Translation (NLT)
23 At that time you won’t need to ask me for anything. I tell you the truth, you will ask the Father directly, and he will grant your request because you use my name. 24 You haven’t done this before. Ask, using my name, and you will receive, and you will have abundant joy. 25 “I have spoken of these matters in figures of speech, but soon I will stop speaking figuratively and will tell you plainly all about the Father.

Psalm 5:4-6 New King James Version (NKJV)

What I Say, I Will Do; Shame On You America, You Will Be Humbled!

Date Received: July 1, 2015

Personal Note:
Late last night, right before I went to bed, as I was reflecting upon the Lord and asking Him if He had anything He wanted to show me, He quickly responded by giving me two quick flash visions.

1st Vision:
In my first vision, I saw what looked like an explosion in the sky, which was followed by expanding flames of fire.

2nd Vision:
In my second vision, which was immediately after my first, I saw a single lightning bolt strike to land.

Early this morning, I was awoken by the Lord; He just began speaking to me. A few minutes after I heard Him and I got my journal ready, I asked Him to tell me specifically what He was showing me by the those two visions mentioned above, and if He had any Word(s) for me and for His people.

Below are two Words I received from the Lord. The first Word is the Lord’s Explanation of the visions He gave me last night; the second Word, is the Word He gave me today. Please remember to always pray for discernment and seek the LORD for confirmation for every single Word you read and hear from His servants. Men can make mistakes; only God is perfect and His Word never contradicts itself. Peace be with you. Amen.

The Lord’s Explanation re: My Two Visions Last Night:

What I Say, I Will Do; Shame On You America, You Will Be Humbled!

Listen, child. Listen carefully to Me. Listen to what I will tell you now. Yes, those visions were from Me. They are My indication to you and confirmation of what is ahead, what will befall this nation soon. Yes, child, war is at hand. This nation will burn for all its unrighteousness. For it has defiled My Holy Name, refuses to lament, and refuses to repent.

Speak forth My Word, child. Destruction is indeed coming to your once great nation, war and chaos ensues. My lightning, My power will strike this nation and it will bow before Me, it will bow down to the ground – on its knees, trembling with fear. I, the Lord have spoken, and what comes out of My mouth will come to pass. What I say and declare as this nation’s lot – will indeed come to pass.

Yes, child. Speak forth My Word. Fear not, for I AM speaking through you. Warn My people to get spiritually ready and to stay ready, for soon I come. What I say, I will do America! Get ready to meet your GOD – the GOD you fail to know, the God you choose to forget is coming to rid your land of all your detestable practices before My Face.

Shame on you, America! What you sow, you will reap. Shame on you! You have planted much, but will reap little. What you store away in barns, I will destroy, for you fail to honor Me. And, to add insult to injury, you have no shame or remorse for your sins. You will be humbled! Shalom.

THE KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS

Romans 1:18-19 New King James Version (NKJV)
God’s Wrath on Unrighteousness
18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who suppress the truth in unrighteousness, 19 because what may be known of God is manifest in them, for God has shown it to them.

1 Corinthians 6:9-11 New King James Version (NKJV)
9 Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites, 10 nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners will inherit the kingdom of God. 11 And such were some of you. But you were washed, but you were sanctified, but you were justified in the name of the Lord Jesus and by the Spirit of our God.

Revelation 18:1-8 English Standard Version (ESV)
The Fall of Babylon
18 After this I saw another angel coming down from heaven, having great authority, and the earth was made bright with his glory. 2 And he called out with a mighty voice, “Fallen, fallen is Babylon the great! She has become a dwelling place for demons, a haunt for every unclean spirit, a haunt for every unclean bird, a haunt for every unclean and detestable beast. 3 For all nations have drunk the wine of the passion of her sexual immorality, and the kings of the earth have committed immorality with her, and the merchants of the earth have grown rich from the power of her luxurious living.” 4 Then I heard another voice from heaven saying, “Come out of her, my people, lest you take part in her sins, lest you share in her plagues; 5 for her sins are heaped high as heaven, and God has remembered her iniquities. 6 Pay her back as she herself has paid back others, and repay her double for her deeds; mix a double portion for her in the cup she mixed. 7 As she glorified herself and lived in luxury, so give her a like measure of torment and mourning, since in her heart she says, ‘I sit as a queen, I am no widow, and mourning I shall never see.’ 8 For this reason her plagues will come in a single day, death and mourning and famine, and she will be burned up with fire; for mighty is the Lord God who has judged her.”

Revelation 18:9-10 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 And the kings of the world who committed adultery with her and enjoyed her great luxury will mourn for her as they see the smoke rising from her charred remains. 10 They will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will cry out, “How terrible, how terrible for you, O Babylon, you great city! In a single moment God’s judgment came on you.”

Revelation 18:14-17 New Living Translation (NLT)
14 “The fancy things you loved so much are gone,” they cry. “All your luxuries and splendor are gone forever, never to be yours again.” 15 The merchants who became wealthy by selling her these things will stand at a distance, terrified by her great torment. They will weep and cry out, 16 “How terrible, how terrible for that great city! She was clothed in finest purple and scarlet linens, decked out with gold and precious stones and pearls! 17 In a single moment all the wealth of the city is gone!” And all the captains of the merchant ships and their passengers and sailors and crews will stand at a distance.

Revelation 18:21-24 New Living Translation (NLT)
20 Rejoice over her fate, O heaven and people of God and apostles and prophets! For at last God has judged her for your sakes. 21 Then a mighty angel picked up a boulder the size of a huge millstone. He threw it into the ocean and shouted, “Just like this, the great city Babylon will be thrown down with violence and will never be found again. 22 The sound of harps, singers, flutes, and trumpets will never be heard in you again. No craftsmen and no trades will ever be found in you again. The sound of the mill will never be heard in you again. 23 The light of a lamp will never shine in you again. The happy voices of brides and grooms will never be heard in you again. For your merchants were the greatest in the world, and you deceived the nations with your sorceries. 24 In your streets flowed the blood of the prophets and of God’s holy people and the blood of people slaughtered all over the world.”

Revelation 16:19-21 New Living Translation (NLT)
19 The great city of Babylon split into three sections, and the cities of many nations fell into heaps of rubble. So God remembered all of Babylon’s sins, and he made her drink the cup that was filled with the wine of his fierce wrath.20 And every island disappeared, and all the mountains were leveled. 21 There was a terrible hailstorm, and hailstones weighing as much as seventy-five pounds fell from the sky onto the people below. They cursed God because of the terrible plague of the hailstorm.

Jeremiah 50:11-16 New Living Translation (NLT)
Babylon’s Sure Fall
11 “You rejoice and are glad, you who plundered my chosen people. You frisk about like a calf in a meadow and neigh like a stallion. 12 But your homeland will be overwhelmed with shame and disgrace. You will become the least of nations—a wilderness, a dry and desolate land. 13 Because of the Lord’s anger, Babylon will become a deserted wasteland. All who pass by will be horrified and will gasp at the destruction they see there. 14 “Yes, prepare to attack Babylon, all you surrounding nations. Let your archers shoot at her; spare no arrows. For she has sinned against the Lord. 15 Shout war cries against her from every side. Look! She surrenders! Her walls have fallen. It is the Lord’s vengeance, so take vengeance on her. Do to her as she has done to others! 16 Take from Babylon all those who plant crops; send all the harvesters away. Because of the sword of the enemy, everyone will run away and rush back to their own lands.

Jeremiah 50:21-26 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Lord’s Judgment on Babylon
21 “Go up, my warriors, against the land of Merathaim and against the people of Pekod. Pursue, kill, and completely destroy them, as I have commanded you,” says the Lord. 22 “Let the battle cry be heard in the land, a shout of great destruction. 23 Babylon, the mightiest hammer in all the earth, lies broken and shattered. Babylon is desolate among the nations! 24 Listen, Babylon, for I have set a trap for you. You are caught, for you have fought against the Lord. 25 The Lord has opened his armory and brought out weapons to vent his fury. The terror that falls upon the Babylonians will be the work of the Sovereign Lord of Heaven’s Armies. 26 Yes, come against her from distant lands. Break open her granaries. Crush her walls and houses into heaps of rubble. Destroy her completely, and leave nothing!

Obadiah 1:1-4 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 This is the vision that the Sovereign Lord revealed to Obadiah concerning the land of Edom. We have heard a message from the Lord that an ambassador was sent to the nations to say, “Get ready, everyone! Let’s assemble our armies and attack Edom!” 2 The Lord says to Edom, “I will cut you down to size among the nations; you will be greatly despised. 3 You have been deceived by your own pride because you live in a rock fortress and make your home high in the mountains. ‘Who can ever reach us way up here?’ you ask boastfully. 4 But even if you soar as high as eagles and build your nest among the stars, I will bring you crashing down,” says the Lord.

Job 36:30-32 English Standard Version (ESV)
30 Behold, he scatters his lightning about him and covers the roots of the sea.
31 For by these he judges peoples; he gives food in abundance. 32 He covers his hands with the lightning and commands it to strike the mark.

Psalm 29:7-8 English Standard Version (ESV)
7 The voice of the Lord flashes forth flames of fire. 8 The voice of the Lord shakes the wilderness; the Lord shakes the wilderness of Kadesh

2 Samuel 22:12-16 English Standard Version (ESV)
12 He made darkness around him his canopy, thick clouds, a gathering of water. 13 Out of the brightness before him coals of fire flamed forth. 14 The Lord thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice. 15 And he sent out arrows and scattered them; lightning, and routed them. 16 Then the channels of the sea were seen; the foundations of the world were laid bare, at the rebuke of the Lord, at the blast of the breath of his nostrils.

Psalm 9:16-18 English Standard Version (ESV)
16 The Lord has made himself known; he has executed judgment; the wicked are snared in the work of their own hands. Higgaion. Selah 17 The wicked shall return to Sheol, all the nations that forget God. 18 For the needy shall not always be forgotten, and the hope of the poor shall not perish forever.

Galatians 6:7-8 New International Version (NIV)
7 Do not be deceived: God cannot be mocked. A man reaps what he sows.8 Whoever sows to please their flesh, from the flesh will reap destruction; whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life.

Haggai 1:5-7 New Living Translation (NLT)
5 This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you! 6 You have planted much but harvest little. You eat but are not satisfied. You drink but are still thirsty. You put on clothes but cannot keep warm. Your wages disappear as though you were putting them in pockets filled with holes! 7 “This is what the Lord of Heaven’s Armies says: Look at what’s happening to you!

Micah 6:14-15 English Standard Version (ESV)
14 You shall eat, but not be satisfied, and there shall be hunger within you; you shall put away, but not preserve, and what you preserve I will give to the sword. 15 You shall sow, but not reap; you shall tread olives, but not anoint yourselves with oil; you shall tread grapes, but not drink wine.

Luke 12:15-21 New International Version (NIV)
15 Then he said to them, “Watch out! Be on your guard against all kinds of greed; life does not consist in an abundance of possessions.” 16 And he told them this parable: “The ground of a certain rich man yielded an abundant harvest. 17 He thought to himself, ‘What shall I do? I have no place to store my crops.’ 18 “Then he said, ‘This is what I’ll do. I will tear down my barns and build bigger ones, and there I will store my surplus grain. 19 And I’ll say to myself, “You have plenty of grain laid up for many years. Take life easy; eat, drink and be merry.”’ 20 “But God said to him, ‘You fool! This very night your life will be demanded from you. Then who will get what you have prepared for yourself?’ 21 “This is how it will be with whoever stores up things for themselves but is not rich toward God.”

Leviticus 20:3 New King James Version (NKJV)
3 I will set My face against that man, and will cut him off from his people, because he has given some of his descendants to Molech, to defile My sanctuary and profane My holy name.

Job 33:13-30 New International Version (NIV)
13 Why do you complain to him that he responds to no one’s words? 14 For God does speak—now one way, now another—though no one perceives it. 15 In a dream, in a vision of the night, when deep sleep falls on people as they slumber in their beds, 16 he may speak in their ears and terrify them with warnings, 17 to turn them from wrongdoing and keep them from pride, 18 to preserve them from the pit, their lives from perishing by the sword. 19 “Or someone may be chastened on a bed of pain with constant distress in their bones, 20 so that their body finds food repulsive and their soul loathes the choicest meal. 21 Their flesh wastes away to nothing, and their bones, once hidden, now stick out. 22 They draw near to the pit, and their life to the messengers of death. 23 Yet if there is an angel at their side, a messenger, one out of a thousand, sent to tell them how to be upright, 24 and he is gracious to that person and says to God, ‘Spare them from going down to the pit; I have found a ransom for them—25 let their flesh be renewed like a child’s; let them be restored as in the days of their youth’—26 then that person can pray to God and find favor with him, they will see God’s face and shout for joy; he will restore them to full well-being. 27 And they will go to others and say, ‘I have sinned, I have perverted what is right, but I did not get what I deserved. 28 God has delivered me from going down to the pit, and I shall live to enjoy the light of life.’ 29 “God does all these things to a person—twice, even three times—30 to turn them back from the pit, that the light of life may shine on them.

Isaiah 40:27-31 English Standard Version (ESV)
27 Why do you say, O Jacob, and speak, O Israel, “My way is hidden from the Lord, and my right is disregarded by my God”? 28 Have you not known? Have you not heard? The Lord is the everlasting God, the Creator of the ends of the earth. He does not faint or grow weary; his understanding is unsearchable. 29 He gives power to the faint, and to him who has no might he increases strength. 30 Even youths shall faint and be weary, and young men shall fall exhausted; 31 but they who wait for the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings like eagles; they shall run and not be weary; they shall walk and not faint.

Psalm 143:9-12 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Rescue me from my enemies, Lord; I run to you to hide me. 10 Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward on a firm footing. 11 For the glory of your name, O Lord, preserve my life. Because of your faithfulness, bring me out of this distress. 12 In your unfailing love, silence all my enemies and destroy all my foes, for I am your servant.

Psalm 17:1-6 New Living Translation (NLT)
1 O Lord, hear my plea for justice. Listen to my cry for help. Pay attention to my prayer, for it comes from honest lips. 2 Declare me innocent, for you see those who do right. 3 You have tested my thoughts and examined my heart in the night. You have scrutinized me and found nothing wrong. I am determined not to sin in what I say. 4 I have followed your commands, which keep me from following cruel and evil people. 5 My steps have stayed on your path; I have not wavered from following you. 6 I am praying to you because I know you will answer, O God. Bend down and listen as I pray.

2 Chronicles 6:21 New Living Translation (NLT)
21 May you hear the humble and earnest requests from me and your people Israel when we pray toward this place. Yes, hear us from heaven where you live, and when you hear, forgive.

Psalm 66:16-20 New Living Translation (NLT)
16 Come and listen, all you who fear God, and I will tell you what he did for me. 17 For I cried out to him for help, praising him as I spoke. 18 If I had not confessed the sin in my heart, the Lord would not have listened. 19 But God did listen! He paid attention to my prayer. 20 Praise God, who did not ignore my prayer or withdraw his unfailing love from me.

Proverbs 1:20-25 New Living Translation (NLT)
Wisdom Shouts in the Streets
20 Wisdom shouts in the streets. She cries out in the public square. 21 She calls to the crowds along the main street, to those gathered in front of the city gate: 22 “How long, you simpletons, will you insist on being simpleminded? How long will you mockers relish your mocking? How long will you fools hate knowledge? 23 Come and listen to my counsel. I’ll share my heart with you and make you wise. 24 “I called you so often, but you wouldn’t come. I reached out to you, but you paid no attention. 25 You ignored my advice and rejected the correction I offered.

Proverbs 2:1-11 New Living Translation (NLT)
The Benefits of Wisdom
2 My child, listen to what I say, and treasure my commands. 2 Tune your ears to wisdom, and concentrate on understanding. 3 Cry out for insight, and ask for understanding. 4 Search for them as you would for silver; seek them like hidden treasures. 5 Then you will understand what it means to fear the Lord, and you will gain knowledge of God. 6 For the Lord grants wisdom! From his mouth come knowledge and understanding. 7 He grants a treasure of common sense to the honest. He is a shield to those who walk with integrity. 8 He guards the paths of the just and protects those who are faithful to him. 9 Then you will understand what is right, just, and fair, and you will find the right way to go. 10 For wisdom will enter your heart, and knowledge will fill you with joy. 11 Wise choices will watch over you. Understanding will keep you safe.

John 8:43 English Standard Version (ESV)
43 Why do you not understand what I say? It is because you cannot bear to hear my word.

John 8:47 English Standard Version (ESV)
47 Whoever is of God hears the words of God. The reason why you do not hear them is that you are not of God.”

Luke 6:47-49 English Standard Version (ESV)
47 Everyone who comes to me and hears my words and does them, I will show you what he is like: 48 he is like a man building a house, who dug deep and laid the foundation on the rock. And when a flood arose, the stream broke against that house and could not shake it, because it had been well built. 49 But the one who hears and does not do them is like a man who built a house on the ground without a foundation. When the stream broke against it, immediately it fell, and the ruin of that house was great.”

Daniel 4:35 English Standard Version (ESV)
35 All the inhabitants of the earth are accounted as nothing, and he does according to his will among the host of heaven and among the inhabitants of the earth; and none can stay his hand or say to him, “What have you done?”

Isaiah 43:9-13 New Living Translation (NLT)
9 Gather the nations together! Assemble the peoples of the world! Which of their idols has ever foretold such things? Which can predict what will happen tomorrow? Where are the witnesses of such predictions? Who can verify that they spoke the truth? 10 “But you are my witnesses, O Israel!” says the Lord. “You are my servant. You have been chosen to know me, believe in me, and understand that I alone am God. There is no other God—there never has been, and there never will be. 11 I, yes I, am the Lord, and there is no other Savior. 12 First I predicted your rescue, then I saved you and proclaimed it to the world. No foreign god has ever done this. You are witnesses that I am the only God,” says the Lord. 13 “From eternity to eternity I am God. No one can snatch anyone out of my hand. No one can undo what I have done.”

Ezekiel 24:14-15 New International Version (NIV)
14 “‘I the Lord have spoken. The time has come for me to act. I will not hold back; I will not have pity, nor will I relent. You will be judged according to your conduct and your actions, declares the Sovereign Lord.’”

Isaiah 58:8-11 New Living Translation (NLT)
8 “Then your salvation will come like the dawn, and your wounds will quickly heal. Your godliness will lead you forward, and the glory of the Lord will protect you from behind. 9 Then when you call, the Lord will answer. ‘Yes, I am here,’ he will quickly reply. “Remove the heavy yoke of oppression. Stop pointing your finger and spreading vicious rumors! 10 Feed the hungry, and help those in trouble. Then your light will shine out from the darkness, and the darkness around you will be as bright as noon. 11 The Lord will guide you continually, giving you water when you are dry and restoring your strength. You will be like a well-watered garden, like an ever-flowing spring.
